Tomorrow’s game sees the club take the next step after the move to Senior football in the SFA pyramid. Scottish Cup football comes to Newtongrange as we welcome Rothes FC to NVP for this historic occasion .
I’m extremely proud of the work that the current and previous committees have done to get us to this day. A few special mentions because without these people this would not have happened, the current committee, Stan Adams, David Pryde and Tommy Smith for the work to get our license, the Sponsors, supporters and those who helped fund the just giving appeal, it’s been a long road but we’re moving along it in the right direction.
Chris and Wes have put a squad together who will wear the jerseys with determination to succeed. It’s early days but they are working hard and they will give it every effort to compete at as high a level as possible.
I wish you could join us at the game but these strange times have denied us that pleasure, hopefully in the New Year we’ll see you all back at NVP. Thanks for your continuing support, take care and stay safe
