Ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup 1st round tie, we caught up with Club Captain Adam Nelson who gave us his thoughts ahead of the game.
Adam Nelson –
‘Obviously the Scottish cup a massive game for everyone involved with the club. All the hard work that’s gone on over the last few years are for big days like this. It’s obviously a proud day for myself being a local lad and representing the club.
It’s another massive game for myself in the Scottish cup which is probably going to be my last season, I have good memories in the cup with my old team Bonnyrigg Rose where I scored the winner against Dumbarton in the 3 round to earn a tie against Hibs at Tynecastle, hopefully more good memories come Saturday.
Would just like to mention the supporters who have not had an easy time watching us this season, I would say it’s a welcome break from the league and ask them to remain patient and look forward to better times ahead.’
