We are delighted to announce defender Ben Finnan has returned to the club on loan until the end of the season from League 2 side, Kelty Hearts. Ben had a short but successful loan spell with Star earlier this season. Ben had briefly returned to Kelty this month before a deal was reached this week to bring Ben back to New Victoria Park for the remainder of the campaign.
Thoughts of Manager, Chris King – ‘Ben was with us previously and was excellent. He has everything we look for in a player – enthusiastic, energetic and has great ability. At 18, Ben has a big future in the game and we are delighted he is back with us for the remainder of the season. Thanks to Kevin and everyone at Kelty their assitance in getting this over the line.’
Ben goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s home match against Sauchie. Tickets are now on sale through Fanbase as well as pay at the gate. Come along and support the lads in what is another huge game for the club!
