Media Team Vacancy

Newtongrange Star FC are looking to expand the media team. The club’s media projects and profile has seen major advancements over the last year such as a new website, live match streaming and the official club app.

We are looking for 1 but potentially 2 people initially to join the club’s media team on a voluntary basis. Although this is would be on a voluntary basis – a certain level of commitment would be required for regularly attending matches.

The role is ideally suited (but not restricted) to digital/media/sports students or someone with a keen interest in digital media and/or football. Successful applicant(s) would be part of a welcoming and ambitious football club and would have the flexibility and creative freedom to play a key role in the club’s media operations.

Examples of what the media team covers –

• Match day coverage such as social media posts/updates
• Graphics creation
• Website updates and monitoring
• Creating articles and features for the club website
• Managing and posting on the official club app
• Social media posting
