We are delighted to anounce midfielder Michael Jones has signed a new contract entension to keep him at the club until the end of the 2024/2025 season. Mikey joined the club earlier this season following a successful trial period and now commits to Newtongrange Star for the longer term.
Thoughts of Manager, Chris King – ‘Mikey has committed to the club for the next 3 seasons. We were lucky to find Mikey through someone close to the club and he has settled in great here. Mikey has great ability, pace and is a great striker of the ball. Mikey is still a very young lad and still has so much development in him. We look forward to working with him over the next few years and see him develop further the more he plays at this level.’
