NOVEMBER 2024 SQUAD UPDATE
We are delighted to confirm that Scott Brogan has extended his contract with the club for a further year, and is now contracted until summer 2026. Scott has been in great form this season, with 5 goals and 4 assists in his 11 starts. We are really pleased Scotty has committed to the club and we look forward to him continuing his development at NVP.
Full back Louis O’Brien has left the club by mutual consent. Louis worked hard to get back to full fitness following a difficult injury last season, and now he is fully fit he wants to play more regularly at EOS level.
Goalkeeper Robbie McDermid has decided to take a break from the game in order to focus on his University studies. Our promising Under 20s goalkeepers Jay Currie and Jack Thomson will continue to be involved rotationally for first team duties for now, as they have done regularly already this season.
We would like to wish both Louis and Robbie all very best for the future.
Delcan Henry has joined Whitehill Welfare U20s on loan at his request. Dec asked to go out on loan specifically to WW20s until the end of 2024 in order to play regularly, and has featured regularly since then. We would like to wish Dec all the best with the loan move.
Jack Adams has agreed to join Edinburgh United on a short term loan deal. Jack is now fully fit having overcome injury and illness, and has been back in the match day squad of late. However in order to continue his progress he now needs regular game time at first team level.
HEAD GOALKEEPER COACH:
We can confirm that goalkeeper coach Brad Murray has left the club. We would like to place on record our thanks to Brad for all his hard work and commitment in his time here, and wish him every success for the future.
Colin McGregor will join the club as Head Goalkeeper Coach, assisted by Shane Thomson. Colin had previously worked with our U20s squad. Welcome home Colin!
