Squad Update
Plans are already underway at Newtongrange Star as we head towards the 2021/2022 season including with the playing squad. Below is the latest news of players leaving the football club and also confirming players moving into the second year of their 2 year contract –
Players departing –
Chris Moffat – Due to work commitments and the recent birth of his baby daughter Grace, Chris is taking time away from football. We wish Chris and his new family all the best for the future and would like to thank Chris for his time and efforts at the club.
Gary Nicholson – In the search for more regular football, Gary will leave the club at the end of his 1 year contract. We wish Gary all the best for the future and would like to thank him for his time and efforts at the club.
Craig O’Reilly – After a 17 year career Craig has decided to hang up his boots. ‘Craigy’ had a number of spells at the Star and was always a valued member of the squad and the club. We would like to wish Craig all the best for the future and enjoy your retirement.
