There have been a number of changes to the playing squad confirmed this week. We confirmed the signing of Defender Gary Hamilton from Tranent until the end of next season. The stopper returns to Star after a spell with the club a few years ago.
We also confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Brad Rixon from Vale of Leithen following an impressive trial period. Brad scored the late winner in our recent home win over local rivals Penicuik in December.
Attacking midfielder Gary Nicholson also returns to the first team squad following a loan period at Arniston Rangers
Player Departures –
Dean Apicella and Dan Rennie have both left the club. We would like to thank both players for their efforts and both leave the club with our best wishes.
