Chris King on The Scottish Cup

Ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup 1^st round tie, we caught up with Manager Chris King who gave us his thoughts ahead of the game.

Manager Chris King –

‘It’s a huge occasion for the club so much hard work has went into this to allow this opportunity for the players to be involved. Last year the lads probably let the themselves and the club down with it being such a big occasion and probably let it get too much for them. We feel this year we are better equipped and obviously receiving a bye in the preliminary round into the first round proper is great for everyone. We have prepared as well as we can going into Saturday against what is a really good side from the Lowland League, it will be a tough task for our lads but one I feel we can handle. We all hope we give the fans something to enjoy and an occasion the lads will remember as a good one.’
