After some 6 months of lockdowns, shutdowns, cancellations & social distancing – football returned to New Victoria Park this week. Pre-season started with Saturdays 1-0 win over Edinburgh South which was followed up with Tuesday nights 6-0 success at home to Pentland Athletic.
After confirming this seasons league fixtures earlier today we are now also able to confirm the full pre-season schedule leading up to the big competitive kick-off at home to Camelon on October 10th!
Saturday 19th September – Newtongrange Star v St Andrews United (kick off 2:30pm)
Tuesday 22nd September – Newtongrange Star v Leith Athletic (kick off 7:30pm)
Saturday 26th September – Newtongrange Star v Preston Athletic (kick off 2:30pm)
Tuesday 29th September – Easthouses Lily v Newtongrange Star (kick off 7:30pm)
Saturday 3rd October – Newtongrange Star v Dalkeith Thistle (kick off 2:30pm)
Please be aware all games (pre-season & competitive) are strictly behind closed doors until further notice in accordance with government and SFA guidelines. Any updates to this will be communicated through club channels.
We are looking to feature highlights on selected pre-season games on the Newtongrange Star YouTube channel – further details on this will be communicated through club channels. Match updates will also be available through the usual social media platforms
