Newtongrange Star FC are delighted to announce that the floodlights on Star’s 3G training park have now been upgraded to LED. This upgrade improves the lighting quality and reduces the environmental footprint of the facility. During peak operation, the 3G training park is utilised each week by over 200 children and 100 adults.
Thanks to Colin Brown at Gateway Lighting Consultancy and Edinburgh City Electrical Contractors for carrying out the work.
Thanks also to funding support provided by The Scottish Football Partnership, Midlothian Council, The Len Thomson Charitable Trust, The Estate of Tommy Quinn, C. Cochrane & Son Painters, Andy McGhee and funding raised from supporters who took part in our Last Man Standing and Grand National Sweepstake earlier in the year.
