We are absolutely delighted to announce that striker Chris Robertson has extended his contract at Newtongrange Star to the summer of 2025.
Robbo has scored 25 goals in 25 competitive games this season making him our top goal scorer and it was imperative to the club to extend his current contract as he is such an important player to the team.
Speaking to us after signing his new deal Robbo said “I’m over the moon to sign a new deal here at Nitten, as everybody knows I love it here, my little boy Harris loves putting on his Nitten strip on a Saturday and coming to New Victoria Park and that is very important to me. I’m 30 years old now and for me, its all about enjoying my football and scoring goals, we have a good group of boys here and I feel like i have a good connection with the fans here also. There’s nowhere else id rather be to be honest.”
