CONTRACT EXTENSIONS
CIARAN MCKENZIE
Ceegs was an outstanding performer last season. Still just 23 years old, he will only continue to get better with experience. Ciaran has extended his deal until summer 2026.
LOUIS O’BRIEN
In his first year in senior football, Louis suffered a knee injury and missing several months of action. A couple of short loan spells at Edin United and Preston Athletic helped his return to fitness and having returned to NVP towards the end of last season he finished the season with a couple of strong performances. Louis has signed a one year extension until summer 2025.
JAYDEN BRADLEY
Jayden signed for the club late last season but settled in very quickly and showed his quality right away. We are sure Jayden will continue to progress into a very important player for the club. Jayden signs until summer 2025.
FRAZER SUTHERLAND
Teenage striker Frazer Sutherland has extended his stay with the club, signing a new deal to keep him here until 2026. Frazer has worked exceptionally hard to get himself back to full fitness and finished last season with some superb performances. We are delighted to secure the long term future of our new number 9.

CHRIS ROBERTSON
Striker Chris Robertson has agreed a move to Premier League side Dunbar United. He will be a massive loss to the club, on and off the park, and we wish him every success at his new club.
DEAN BALLANTYNE
Striker Dean Ballantyne has departed the club after two years, upon the expiry of his contract. We would like to wish Dean the very best of luck in the future and thank him for all his efforts at Newtongrange Star.
AARON HAMILTON
Goalkeeper Aaron Hamilton has also departed the club this summer as he wishes to pursue his ambition of being a first choice goalkeeper. We wish Aaron well for the future.
SEAN GUINEY
Subject to SFA approval, centre back Sean Guiney has signed a loan deal to join Lowland League side Cowdenbeath, with a view to making a permanent move. We wish Sean every success with his move.
LIAM MCCATHIE
Goalkeeper Liam McCathie is currently considering offers which have met the minimum release clause Liam inserted into his contract. Liam has been an excellent servant to the club and we wish him well for the future, wherever that may be.
